HOUSING INFORMATION:
If you need housing for the night of Saturday, November 4th, we have some limited shared accommodations available for you. A Yale student attending the conference will host you at their Yale student dorm or nearby off campus housing. We kindly request that students who are less than 1 hour away consider giving priority to students coming from schools farther away. If you would like to use these arrangements, you must bring a sleeping bag and pillow, towels, toiletries, and any medications you take. Bathrooms at Yale are typically shared by a suite, so please keep this in mind.

What does it mean to house a student for a night?
This means that you can offer a place to stay for another student - this is usually on the floor or couch of your personal room or common room. Students coming from other schools who need housing will be responsible for bringing their own bedding, so all they need is a place to sleep. 

Why should I house another student?
In addition to your registration fees being waived, this is a fun way to build a strong friendship with a student from another school who shares similar interests as you. You'll be able to show them around campus outside of conference hours and have them experience what it's like to live in a Yale dorm. Most importantly, you'll be providing a home for one night to a student who otherwise may have been unable to attend YBC!

How will this process work?
If you are able to house a student, you will be able to register without paying for the registration fee. Once we find a student that you can house, we will connect you with them to coordinate housing. Simple!
